KONDEPUDI Sekhar

sekhar.jpgDr. Sekhar Kondepudi is currently an Associate Professor of Smart Buildings, Smart Cities and IoT at the National University of Singapore (NUS) with over 25 years of global experience in multiple technology verticals including Smart Buildings, Smart Cities, Internet of Things (IoT), Energy Efficiency in the Built Environment, Utilities, Sustainability, Software and Communications.

Dr. Kondepudi has worked in a variety of vertical industries including at Cisco Systems, Wind River Systems (Intel), Freescale Semiconductor, Motorola, Sprint Electric Power Research Institute (EPRI) as well as in startup companies. He has been involved in a variety of  IoT, Software and Data projects related projects to the built environment and cities. 

He was most recently a Vice-Chair for the Focus Group on Smart Sustainable Cities at the International Telecommunications Union (ITU) and  is active in providing strategic advisory services to both public and private sectors related to Smart Sustainable Cities, Internet of Things (IoT) and Energy Efficiency.

A much sought after speaker on the topic of smart buildimngs, smart cities and IoT, he has made presentations across the world including Singapore, Bangkok, Pusan, Colombo, Turin, Madrid, Riyadh and Qatar. He has over 30 technical publications to his credit and has conducted multiple trainings and workshops globally.
