Dr.-Ing. Abdur Rahim Biswas is a senior research staff in the smart IoT group at CREATE-NET, Italy. He is a technical manager of iKaaS (www.ikaas.com), an IoT/BigData/Cloud based collaborative research project between Europe and Japan. He was the project manager of the EU large-scale integrated Internet of Thing (IoT) project iCore (www.iot-icore.eu) for empowering Internet of Thing through cognitive technologies. He serves as technical working group leader of several EU projects and European cluster activities. Currently Dr.-Ing Biswas is the program vice-chair of the Self-Aware IoT workshop, and the steering committee co-chair of Crowncom (www.crowncom.org). He has given talks in many conferences, events, meeting, etc. Dr.-Ing. Biswas organized many technical/panel session and workshop at different international events like ICC, CROWNCOM, ICT Mobile Summit, EU RAS, etc., He has involved in international cooperation with several regions like Africa, Middle East, Japan, Korea, South Asia, etc.
