Nathan heads Vodafone’s global policy and regulatory engagement on mobile payments in the emerging markets. In this capacity, he supports teams in India, Egypt, South Africa, Lesotho, DRC, Mozambique, Romania, Tanzania and Kenya with respect to Vodafone’s world-leading mobile payments service, M-Pesa. Nathan also engages with regulators, donors, and governments internationally on the enabling conditions for mobile financial services.
Prior to joining Vodafone, Nathan served as a diplomat for 8 years, during which he completed foreign assignments in Afghanistan and Israel. Nathan holds an MBA from the London Business School and an MA in Political Science from McGill University in Montreal.
