Heung-Koo Choi has gone Department of Computer Engineering and Science at Linköping University in Sweden for his MS in 1990 and his Ph.D. studying of Center for Image Analysis at Uppsala University in Sweden in1996.
Now he is Professor at Department of Computer Engineering, Director of Ubiquitous Healthcare Research Center of Inje University and President of Korea Multimedia Society. He has developed some diagnostic software tools e.g., medical image processing and analysis, tele-radiology and tele-pathology systems.
He actively participates in the standardization meetings including ITU-D SG2 Q9/14.
