Michał Piórkowski is leading the team of Data Scientists at Big Data & Business Intelligence Competence Center @ Swisscom. Before joining Swisscom he's been mining data at Yahoo for revenue management in the EMEA region. Prior to that he co-founded company named Bmob, focused on mining data from sensor networks monitoring parking occupancy at the city scale. He holds PhD degree in Communication and Computer Sciences from Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne.
