LE GRAND Olivier

Olivier Le Grand has been involved in the telecommunications industry for nearly 25 years. In 1990 he joined R&D arm of France Telecom and now part of Orange Labs, the Orange worldwide innovation network. Involved in standardization since 1992, Olivier contributed to the ITU-T and ETSI activities related to control architectures and signalling protocols for ISDN, B-ISDN, NGN and IPTV.

SG 13 vice-chairman from 2005 to 2012, he is currently involved in architecture related aspects of cloud computing, software-defined networking and network functions virtualization.  Editor of several NGN related ITU-T Recommendations (Y.20xx series), he was also co-editor of Recommendation ITU-T Y.3502 | ISO/IEC 17789 ("Cloud computing reference architecture").

Olivier is graduated from the National Institute of Telecommunications (Evry, France), also known as TELECOM SudParis.​
