As the Counsellor, Greg is responsible for the secretariat of ITU-T Study Group 15 which covers the standardization of optical transport networks, both metallic and optical access networks as well as home networking and external plant. Greg has worked at ITU for over 26 years starting as manager of the organization's computer network. After nine years he transferred to ITU's telecommunication standardization bureau where he has also been the English language editor and then responsible for communication for ITU-T. Greg holds a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and a post-graduate degree in Communication Engineering.
