Mark is Rapporteur for Q19 (Cloud Computing Management and Security) in ITU-T Study Group 13, and Associate Rapporteur for Q8 Cloud Computing Security in Study Group 17. Mark has spent his entire career in telecommunications, including working on residential broadband concepts from 1989.
He has participated at ITU standardization (both ITU-T and ITU-R) since 1991, and has worked for Microsoft since 1995 in the USA, the UK, and Switzerland. In addition to ITU work, Mark is also appointed as an expert to ISO/IEC JTC1 SC38, and has also worked in ETSI and various industry standards forums.
Mark is based in Geneva, Switzerland since 2003, and lives with his family in a high mountain village in Canton Valais.
