Katsalis KostasVice Chair, ESTSI ISG NFV IFA Dr. Kostas Katsalis is a Solutions Architect at DOCOMO Communications Lab in Munich, Germany. He is a senior standardization specialist actively involved in several standards organizations, including ETSI ISG NFV, 3GPP SA5. Within ETSI ISG NFV, he focuses on the activities of the IFA and EVE working groups and currently serves as Vice-Chair of the IFA Working Group. He has spent several years conducting research in both industry and academia, specializing in wireless network virtualization, SDN/NFV, future networking technologies, and network optimization and management. He has also contributed to the open-source community. Dr. Katsalis regularly serves as a reviewer for several top-tier conferences and journals in the field of computer networking.
Kangchan Lee ITU-T SG13 Vice-chair, WP2/13 Chair
Dr. Kangchan Lee, ITU-T SG13 Vice-chair, WP2/13 Chair, is Director of the Strategic Standards Research Section at ETRI and a Principal Researcher in the Protocol Engineering Center. He holds a Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Chungnam National University, Korea. Dr. Lee has over two decades of experience in standardization, particularly in cloud computing, big data, IoT, AI/ML, and next-generation web technologies. He currently serves as Chair of the ITU-T JCA-AI, Chair of ITU-T SG13 WP2, and Vice-chair of ITU-T SG13. Dr. Lee has authored over 20 ITU-T Recommendations and brings deep technical expertise, strategic leadership, and a strong record of international collaboration in fields of cloud computing.
Kazunori Tanikawa Chair, ITU-T SG13
Kazunori Tanikawa is a Managing Expert working for Innovation Promotion Department of National Institute of Information and Communications Technology (NICT) and is dedicating the standardization activities in ITU-T. Mr. Tanikawa started ITU-T standardization activities in 2007 in FG IPTV, and continuously participated in IPTV-GSI and SG16, he contributed to make progress of work items on IPTV terminal devices and service specifications. Q14/16 “Digital signage systems and services” was initiated in 2013, and Mr. Tanikawa managed standardization activities issuing H.780 series on digital signage for eight years. Since 2017, Mr. Tanikawa has joined SG13 in earnest, especially on the topics of SDN/NFV technology, and he was a co-rapporteur of Q21/13 “Networks beyond IMT-2020: Network softwarization”. Mr. Tanikawa was nominated and appointed as SG13 chair in WTSA-20, March 2022, and continues his leadership for SG13. Mr. Tanikawa is a chairman of Expert Group ITU-T issues of Asia-Pacific Telecommunity Program (ASTAP). As for his personal record, Mr. Tanikawa received B.E. and M.E. Degrees in mechanical engineering from Waseda University in Japan in 1985 and 1987 respectively.
 Tingting Zhang
Q18/13 Rapporteur
Tingting Zhang is a China Mobile Top 1000 Technical Expert and Deputy General Manager of the Collaborative Innovation Base (International Cooperation Platform Operation Center) at China Mobile Research Institute. She focuses on cloud computing, edge computing and distributed computing, driving tech-industry integration, large-scale project planning, and standardization. She has led national projects, published more than 10 papers, co-authored The Computing Era and Enterprise Private Cloud Construction Guide, and holds 30 patents. As ITU-T SG13/Q18 Rapporteur, she leads the development of key ITU-T Recommendations and has published more than six ITU-T Recommendations.
 Jian Xu Senior Project Manager, China Mobile
Jian Xu has been engaged in research on NFV and core network related technologies for over 10 years, and currently responsible for the work of China Mobile's telco cloud technology evolution and live network support. He is also involved in research and promotion of telco cloud related international standards and currently serves as the Vice-Chair of the ETSI ISG NFV Technical Steering Committee (TSC).
