Daisuke Miyamoto was born on 1977 in Osaka, Japan. He is an assistant professor in Information Technology Center, the University of Tokyo, Japan, since 2011. He was received the Bachelor of Commerce from Kwansei Gakuin University, Japan, in 2000, the Master of Engineering in Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Japan, in 2002, and PhD in Engineering in Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Japan, in 2009. He was worked as a network engineer in Accelia Inc., Japan, 2002-2005, a researcher in the Nara Institute of Science and Technology, Japan, 2008-2009, and an expert researcher in National Institute of Information and Communications Technology, 2009-2011. He has ten years of experience in ICT security research and development. His current research topics include cybersecurity, cognitive psychology, and countermeasures against phishing.
