• Terms of Reference

1. to study the issue of terminology related to building confidence and security in the use of ICTs, and to examine and develop definitions and descriptions in this regard, as appropriate;
2. to report to the Council annually on its progress with respect to the issues referred to above;
3. to prepare a final report, at the latest by the 2009 session of the Council, including possible amendments to the ITU Constitution and Convention, for transmission to the 2010 plenipotentiary conference;
4. to consider the work of the relevant ITU-T and ITU-D study groups on the matter;
5. to liaise with relevant Council working groups dealing with terminology.

  The working group is open to all Member States and Sector Members of ITU.
