
Lead, Fourth Industrial Revolution for Agriculture, World Economic Forum
Abhay has more than 14 years of experience of managing multi-stakeholder initiatives focused on agriculture and development finance. Currently he is working as Lead for Fourth Industrial Revolution for Agriculture at World Economic Forum, India. At Forum he is responsible to drive initiative to scale digital agriculture through Public Private Partnership, in coordination with government, industry, farmer organizations and start-ups.
Prior to World Economic Forum, Abhay worked with United Nations Capital Development Fund and MSC Consulting in different capacities in Nepal, China, the Philippines and India. During his tenure with United Nations Capital Development Fund, he led organization’s digital agriculture strategy and worked on several greenfield initiatives such as dairy value chain digitization and establishing Nepal’s first licensed digital wallet.
He holds Post Graduate Diploma in Rural Management from Xavier Institute of Management, Bhubaneswar.
