Summary: An Internet of things (IoT)-based substation auxiliary monitoring system plays a vital role in ensuring the stability and safety of the power supply. By integrating advanced monitoring technologies, it collects the data of key parameters such as power environmental conditions and substation area lock control, providing auxiliary information support for substation monitoring in the power grid. This enables comprehensive monitoring and management of substation auxiliary facilities. This Recommendation describe the functional architecture and data transmission categories of the IoT-based substation auxiliary monitoring system, and provides relevant use cases in the appendix for reference.
