Summary:
|
To combat global climate change, the electric power industry is swiftly transitioning towards a future that is smarter, greener, and more carbon-efficient. Electric power system construction now faces dual challenges: bidirectional supply-demand dynamics and the increasing integration of distributed energy resources. Through comprehensive sensing and intelligent power monitoring, utilizing the Internet of Things (IoT) can effectively enhance the electric power system's capacity to address challenges.
This Recommendation specifies a capability framework and technical requirements, as well as it describes typical applications, for electric power data perception and applications based on the Internet of Things (IoT).
