Summary:
|
A smart city platform (SCP) integrates various city systems and services to support urban operations. The real-time event monitoring and integrated management (EMM) platform provides a set of capabilities that enhance the operation of an SCP. It connects various intelligent facilities equipped with IoT sensors, providing stakeholders with the necessary integrated information to make informed decisions and respond promptly to an event that may occur in a city. However, the EMM platform may face security threats, especially potential threats to its specific functions.
Accordingly, to mitigate the security threats faced by the EMM platform and to satisfy its security requirements, appropriate security measures can be applied.
This Recommendation analyzes security threats, defines security requirements, and provides security guidelines for the EMM platform.
