Summary: Supplement G.sup.CMAFP describes coordinated management system that covers both passive optical network (PON) and fiber in premises (FIP) networks. Architecture of PON and FIP management systems include TR-181 based management, FIP network managed with USP/CWMP and OMCI/FMCI are demonstrated. This supplement proposed several typical use cases of coordinated management between PON and FIP networks, such as performance and fault management, FIP equipment authentication control, FIP topology visualization and Wi-Fi coordination among multiple FIP networks. Possible solutions to realize coordinated management including extension of OMCI together with processing of eOMCI message are also described.
