Summary:
|
The remote operation services described in H.430.3, ILE service scenario, include three types of use cases (interactive live object control, remote object operation and real-time multi-user collaboration) in which interactive immersive video, audio and haptic streams are consistently shared with remote persons across heterogeneous terminals and network/edge/cloud deployments.
This Recommendation aims to provide a common and interoperable basis for remote operation oriented Interactive Immersive Services (IIS) by refining and extending IIS needs into a shared model and interaction system framework with explicit conformance points for remote operation and multi-user collaboration. This recommendation specifies the requirements and functional architecture for Shared Model based Immersive Interaction Systems (SMIIS) to ensure interoperability and state consistency in remote environments. This recommendation also describes candidate/supporting technologies to realize SMIIS.
