Summary:
|
Architectural framework for immersive live experience (ILE) has been defined in [ITU-T H.430.2], which describes that ILE applications integrate media processing block and signalling control block, which means that ILE system have a variety of ILE service capabilities, such as real-time objects extraction capability, spatial location sensing capability for objects, sound direction identifying capability, media transport capability for extracted objects including spatial location information, presentation capability including 3D projection, synchronous capability with multimedia.
With the continuous advancement of technology, the diverse capabilities of ILE can support in fields with novel requirements and complex functional characteristics, such as automated driving and virtual classroom.
The native service capabilities of the ILE system were originally designed for internal ILE applications rather than external applications. Achieving capability exposure for ILE system to appropriate third-party applications can reduce resource consumption and promote cost-effective development. To realize exposure of ILE service capabilities, this Recommendation specifies the details of requirements and framework for ILE system enhancement.
