Summary:
|
Embodied Artificial Intelligence (EAI) is an emerging frontier field at the intersection of artificial intelligence and robotics. EAI achieves intelligent behaviour through interaction between physical entities and the environment, emphasizing the interdependence of the cognition and action of intelligent agents in the physical environment. EAI has many applications in smart sustainable cities (SSCs), including manufacturing and industry, healthcare and assistive technology, disaster responding and search & rescue, education and child development, and logistics and warehousing, etc. However, the entire blueprint of EAI for SSCs has not been fully illustrated in the work of SG20 yet. This draft Technical Report aims to provide an overall guide on the use of EAI in SSCs, including overview, requirements, technologies, and applications of EAI for SSCs.
