Summary: This draft Recommendation outlines the technical framework and requirements of the power metaverse for future urban smart grids. The Appendix presents several use cases that demonstrate how metaverse technology can be applied to optimize power systems from the perspectives of users, the grid, and the power supply side. Each illustrated use case provides a detailed description of assumptions and service scenarios. These use cases contribute to the specification of the requirements of the power metaverse for future urban smart grids.
