The power operation sites are the core of the operation and maintenance of power infrastructure, playing a crucial role in ensuring the safety of life for workers and the stable operation of the power system. Due to the characteristics of widespread distribution, multi-point collaboration, and complexity and variability of power operation sites, it is unable to meet the actual needs of multi-party participation. Therefore, it is necessary to establish an intelligent power operation site based on IoT.
This recommendation provides functional capabilities to support IoT-based electric power work site operation services, including the concept, goals, key components, requirements, and functional capabilities. Functional capabilities are key means to establish a safe, scientific, and efficient power operation site. Related use cases of functional capabilities to support IoT-based electric power work site are provided in an appendix.
