Recommendation ITU-T L.405 describes requirements of preconnectorised cabling components defined as housings, closures, cable assemblies and terminals, which are factory terminated with connectors. This recommendation covers additional requirements and characteristics to the existing ITU-T L-series Recommendations for optical cables, passive nodes, and connectors.
