Summary: Application addressing is the process to discover the IP address of the server which the application running on when UE intends to access the application. On the basis of Y.3137, which specifies use cases and requirement of application addressing in multi-access edge computing, this Recommendation presents the framework and technical solutions of application addressing in multi-access edge computing in IMT-2020 networks and beyond.
