Summary:
|
Immersive live experience (ILE) enables users to experience a remote event in real time with highly realistic sensations, which provides various benefits such as enhanced enjoyment, reduced cost and time, and increased accessibility. The existing Recommendations about requirements, architectural framework, service scenarios and transport protocols of ILE have been accomplished. However, there are no clear standards for comprehensive quality influencing factors and quality requirements for ILE that can reflect the immersiveness and reliability of ILE services and capability level of ILE systems. Well-defined quality requirements for ILE contribute to defining the characteristics and features of such services, as well as promoting interoperability, compatibility, and innovation of ILE technologies and applications. This Recommendation aims to specify the quality influencing factors and quality requirements for ILE, as well as the corresponding quality influencing factors and quality requirements for Interactive Immersive Services (IIS). The overview, quality influencing factors, quality requirements, and security considerations are presented.
