Summary:

SDN and NFV-based central office service, equipped with SDN and NFV technologies, earns the capabilities of developing diverse internet access services much easier and faster. The running status of the resources and interactions in central office services are required to be monitored to ensure stability, reliability, and availability. Therefore, this Draft Recommendation specifies monitoring parameters for SDN and NFV-based central office service, which are classified into monitoring parameters of the signalling protocol in Central Office service, monitoring parameters of the SDN-based vBRAS, monitoring parameters of the SDN-based vCPE, monitoring parameters of the SDN based vOLT, and monitoring parameters of the interactions between physical and virtual resources.
