Summary: This Recommendation provides no-reference objective video quality measurement methods for FHD (full high definition, 1920x1080) signals. As multimedia signals are increasingly transmitted over networks, there are increasing needs to monitor video quality. Although full-reference or reduced reference video quality measurement methods can be used to assess coding artifacts, information on reference source signals may not be available for video quality assessment in real world. This Recommendation provides no-reference models that can accurately estimate objective video quality of FHD signals.
