Summary: As the lead study group on Computing power network, ITU-T SG13 has the main responsibility for developing related standards. With the effort by Q2/13 and some other SGs and SDOs, such as SG2, SG11, SG17, Broadband Forum (BBF), CPN has formed a serial standard that includes requirement, framework and architecture, test, monitoring, security etc. Moreover, during the meeting held on 15-26 July 2024 in Geneva, SG13 received the liaison from SG2, which mentioned ITU-T Question 5/SG2 hopes that SG13 could give a roadmap of CPN, which would be helpful to develop management related recommendations for computing power enhancement networks. Therefore, we need a good guidance for analysing existing efforts and stimulating future standardization activities on Computing power network in ITU-T and other SDOs. In this regard, it’s necessary to develop a document for standard roadmap considering activities in all related SDOs.
