Summary: The new proposed Amendment would enhance FlexO-x base descriptions that are needed for adaptation to different FEC types (as used in G.709.3). The Amendment would also introduce new OTNsec (encryption, security) OH fields and new payload type field. The FlexO PAD would be replaced by FlexO extended OH to match the new G.709.3 revision.
