Summary: Often, poor call stability or a degradation in speech quality is associated with natural or artificial geographic or topological structures, such as tunnels, ravines or noise barriers. This Recommendation extends ITU-T Rec. G.1034 by defining a set of metrics which describe call stability and changes of speech quality related to such structures.
