The vehicular multimedia networks (VMN) consist of the vehicular multimedia service platform (VMSP), broadcast and communication networks, and the vehicular multimedia system (VMS) in the vehicle.
This Recommendation specifies use cases and requirements for the VMN, including overview, connectivity, intelligent human machine interfaces (HMI) for the VMS, privacy considerations, content rights protection in a converged network environment, copyright and rights management support for content delivery, security, safety, definition of vehicular multimedia configurations and etc..
