Summary:

Many countries and regions have appreciated the need to effectively manage e-waste in order to mitigate environmental, social and economic risks associated with improper disposal of this waste. As such countries have embarked on various initiatives. It is however noted that some of the initiatives have not given off good results and the issue is still not yet resolved.
This recommendation utilises information compiled from the supplement on countries and regions' success stories and focuses on best practises, procedures and processes that countries may consider to effectively manage their e-waste.
