On trouvera dans l'édition 6.6 (Amendement 4) de cette Recommandation les nouveaux éléments suivants: équations logiques parallèles et texte correspondant pour la mise en œuvre des contrôles de redondance cyclique CRC-4 pour le préfixe fgTSOH et CRC-6 pour le préfixe fgTSMxOH; multiplexage pouvant aller jusqu'à quatre signaux clients E1 à débit constant (CBR) dans le signal fgOPUflex(1); et description améliorée de la mise en correspondance des signaux client VC-n dans les processus fgOPUflex et fgGMP. Des corrections d'ordre rédactionnel ont également été apportées.
