تحدد التوصية ITU-T G.8113.2/Y.1372.2 آليات التشغيل والإدارة والصيانة (OAM) القائمة على أدوات معرفة من أجل التبديل MPLS لآليات التشغيل والإدارة والصيانة (OAM) على مستوى البيانات في الشبكات MPLS-TP.كما تحدد التوصية أنساق الرزم OAM للمواصفة MPLS-TP الخاصة بحقول الرزم OAM لهذه المواصفة وقواعد التركيب والدلالات الخاصة بها. وتفترض آليات OAM المعرفة في هذه التوصية تسيير مشترك لكل من الرزم MPLS-TP الخاصة بالمستعمل والرزم MPLS-TP الخاصة بالتشغيل والإدارة والصيانة.
