This year’s celebration of Girls and Women in ICT Day we invited in the morning 110 girls from primary schools. The school were mostly from the districts.  Our theme was Innovative Girl Power. We entertained them with listening to the SG from Canto and let them experience the Code for Su experience. They learned the basics how to code. They also took part in a ICT quiz where the school with the best results got 5 computers donated. They came in subdued in the morning but at the end of the activity were very enthusiastic. In the afternoon we had a hour of code session for 15 girls from a catholic boarding school. Those girls also had the time of their lives. The day was very rewarding and the girls look back at a fun and learning event.
