We hosted 20 girls at Niles Secondary School from 10 am to 3pm. We taught girls how to use Raspberry Pi and Arduino technologies, provided hands-on experiences with 3D printing, modeling, and scanning, and invited prominent women in ICT careers to speak.
We also launched 3D Africa for girls in Kenya, an engineering and prototyping space for 3D printing and related technologies, at the event.
