The Telecommunications Authority of Trinidad and Tobago (TATT) hosted a Bring Your Daughters to Work Day on April 12, 2012 at its Office in commemorating Girls in ICT Day and was held on that day to take the opportunity of the girls being on Easter vacation. The group of girls were between the ages of 5-18 years old and came with their parents. The activities included first-hand experience of some of the technologies such as TATT's mobile monitoring and broadcast monitoring systems, workshop on child online protection for the older participants and encouragement to consider career in ICT.

In commemoration of WTISD 2012, the Authority also announced that it will be awarding a total of 8 bursaries  to female students pursuing ICT related degrees at various tertiary-level educational institutions in Trinidad and Tobago.​​​​​
