Summary: This Supplement provides resource prediction capability for Massive Data Transmission (MDT) service to improve the data transmission efficiency and avoid the influence of ongoing services in Software-Defined Networking (SDN) control layer based on functional architecture in [ITU-T Y.3302], which can make MDT service more cost efficient and optimize the network resource utilization. This Supplement focuses on introducing Resource prediction functional component and defining the procedure of MDT service with the newly added functional component.
