Summary:
|
With the continuous enrichment of software defined network and the intelligent development of networks, the research and application progress of software defined network is also accelerating. ITU-T Y.3302 has defined the functional architecture of the software defined network and the functional components at each level. The described functional architecture is intended to be used as an enabler for further studies on other aspects such as protocols and security as well as being used to customize SDN on supporting of appropriate use cases (e.g., cloud computing, mobile networks).
To deploy the MDT service and optimize the network resources, the resource prediction functional component can be expanded to provide periodic estimates of future resource occupancy based on historical records, enabling massive data transmission services with high resource usage but insensitive latency to better utilize resources without affecting ongoing services.
