Summary: The draft recommendation focuses particularly on authentication using speaker recognition. Speaker recognition systems can be divided into two categories: systems dependent on spoken text and systems independent of text. In the first case, the user is required to use predetermined fixed text (a word or a phrase) during the learning and recognition. Whereas for a system independent of the text the speaker speaks freely without predefined text.
