This draft Recommendation addresses the control plane for the mobility management of FMSC, which is mainly conducted by session management function (SMF) and other network slice relevant-functions. The following aspects of fixed, mobile and satellite convergence network to support network slicing are addressed:
FMSC scenario and network slicing requirements on mobility management for convergence.
Enhancement of detailed network functionalities for the mobility management of fixed, mobile and satellite convergence unified architecture to support network slicing.
Procedures of the mobility management of network slicing based fixed, mobile and satellite convergence unified architecture enhanced.
Security considerations related to the control plane and mobility of the FMSC network slice.
