Summary: The distributed data plane refers to pool of network functionalities related with data collection, processing, storage and management, which are deployed in a distributed manner in the core network for IMT-2020 and beyond. It is of important needs to specify a framework for distributed data plane, which is market valuable for network operators and end users with enhanced support of distributed data storage, collaborative processing and management. This Recommendation specifies the distributed data plane for IMT-2020 and beyond, in the aspects of requirements, functional architecture, procedures, security considerations
