This criteria specifies technically oriented key performance indicators used in the life cycle of smart manufacturing. It provides the key performance evaluation framework, indicators and methods for digital transformation of manufacturing, quantitatively evaluate the value and benefits of digital transformation from the aspects of business innovation, operation optimization and sustainable development, provides a basis for city managers to make decisions and accelerates the process of digital transformation of manufacturing. It is designed as a practical tool for city managers, and all relevant stakeholders to study the performance and benefits of digital transformation of manufacturing from a technical perspective. Thus, it gives general guidance for accurately assessing the benefits of digital transformation and helping cities achieve sustainable development goals.
