This draft Recommendation provides an overview of trust provisioning in ICT infrastructures and services. It introduces necessity of trust in ICT infrastructure to cope with potential risks due to the lack of trust. And then, it describes fundamental characteristics of trust and clarifies the concept of trust provisioning for identifying technical aspects for trust provisioning in ICT infrastructure. It also shows a way to make a trusted ICT infrastructure driven by technical solutions for trust provisioning. Detailed potential risks in ICT infrastructures and analysis of attributes for trust are also provided in informative appendices.
