كبلات الألياف البصرية للتطبيقات الهوائية

تصف هذه التوصية الخصائص وطرائق التمديد والاختبار للكبلات الليفية البصرية من أجل التطبيق الهوائي ولكنها لا تنطبق على كبلات السلك الأرضي الليفي البصري. أولاً، لكي يبرهن الليف البصري على قدر كاف من الأداء، توصف الخصائص التي ينبغي أن يتسم بها الكبل. ثم توصف طريقة لفحص ما إذا كان الكبل يتسم بالخصائص الموصوفة. وقد تختلف الشروط المطلوبة تبعاً لبيئة المنشآت. ولذلك يتعين الاتفاق على الشروط التفصيلية للتجارب بين المستعمل والمزود على أساس البيئة التي سوف يستخدم فيها الكبل.
