海底光缆系统的一般功能

ITU-T G.971建议书适用于光纤海底电缆系统，该建议书旨在鉴别光纤海底电缆系统的主要特性，提供光纤海底电缆系统方面相关建议书的一般信息，附件A描述了与所有光纤海底电缆系统有关的通用实现，与各个光纤海底电缆系统有关的特定信息包含在其它建议书的附件中，关于各个国家电缆船和潜水设备的更新数据也在附录一中描述。在最新版本中，图1(b)描述了可互操作光纤海底电缆系统和边界的示意图。
