海底光缆系统的一般功能

ITU-T G.971建议书适用于光纤海底电缆系统，该建议书旨在鉴别光纤海底电缆系统的主要特性，提供光纤海底电缆系统方面相关建议书的一般信息，附件A描述了与所有光纤海底电缆系统有关的通用实现，与各个光纤海底电缆系统有关的特定信息包含在其它建议书的附件中，关于各个国家电缆船和潜水设备的更新数据也在附录I中描述。此最新版本修正了第7节内涉及光纤海底电缆系统建议书间的关系，以便将“通用”、“组件或功能”和“系统要求”这三个组另考虑进去。
