La Recommandation UIT-T G.8013/Y.1731 définit des mécanismes pour la fonctionnalité d'exploitation et de maintenance (OAM) dans le plan d'utilisateur des réseaux Ethernet conformément aux exigences et aux principes indiqués dans la Recommandation UIT-T Y.1730. Elle est spécifiquement conçue de façon à prendre en charge les connexions point à point et la connectivité multipoint dans la couche Ethernet (ETH) définie dans la Recommandation UIT-T G.8010/Y.1306.Les mécanismes OAM définis dans cette Recommandation offrent des capacités d'exploitation et de maintenance pour les aspects réseau et service de la couche ETH.L'Amendement 1 fournit:•des précisions d'ordre rédactionnel concernant la Recommandation UIT-T G.8010 au § 1;•l'ajout d'une référence à la Recommandation UIT-T G.8021 dans les § 7 et 8 pour faciliter l'interprétation;•une correction d'ordre rédactionnel au § 10.8;•une mise à jour de la Note 2 du Tableau A.1.
