Amendment 3 to Recommendation ITU-T G.9804.1 includes additional requirements for higher speed passive optical networks (PONs), including complementary for 25/50G dual-rate combinations in the upstream direction, deprecation of 12.5 Gbit/s upstream rate requirement and the addition of industrial PON scenario.
