تقدم التوصية ITU-T G.8013/Y.1731 آليات بشأن الخواص الوظيفية للتشغيل والإدارة والصيانة (OAM) في مستوي المستعمل في شبكات الإثرنت وفقاً للمتطلبات والمبادئ الواردة في التوصية ITU-T Y.1730. وقد صُممت هذه التوصية خصيصاً لدعم التوصيلات من نقطة إلى نقطة والتوصيلية متعددة النقاط في طبقة الإثرنت على النحو المحدد في التوصية ITU-T G.8010/Y.1306.وتقدم آليات OAM المعرَّفة في هذه التوصية قدرات لتشغيل وصيانة جوانب الشبكة والخدمة في طبقة الإثرنت.ويقدم التعديل 1:توضيح صياغي بشأن التوصية ITU-T G.8010 في الفقرة 1.إحالات مرجعية إضافية إلى التوصية ITU-T G.8021 في الفقرتين 7 و8 لتسهيل التفسير.تصويب صياغي في الفقرة 8.10.تحديث للملاحظة 2 في الجدول 1.A.
