كبلات الألياف البصرية للتطبيقات الهوائية

تصف التوصية ITU-T L.26 الخصائص وطرائق الإنشاء والاختبار للكبلات الليفية البصرية من أجل التطبيق الهوائي (بما في ذلك الكبلات المجدولة) ولكنها لا تنطبق على كبلات السلك الأرضي الليفي البصري أو الكبلات المعدنية الخاصة بالدعم الذاتي للخزانة. أولاً، يرد وصف الخصائص التي تؤثر على الأداء المرضي لكبلات الألياف البصرية. ثم يرد وصف طرائق فحص ما إذا كانت الكبلات تتسم بهذه الخصائص المطلوبة. وقد تختلف الشروط المطلوبة تبعاً لبيئة التركيب. ولذلك يتعين الاتفاق على الشروط التفصيلية للتجارب بين المستعمل والمزود على أساس البيئة التي سوف يستخدم فيها الكبل.
