Co-designing the ITU’s Leadership Accelerator

I-CoDI is helping the ITU Transformation Team co-design an ITU Leadership Accelerator by facilitating hybrid design thinking workshops with staff (6-7 July 2022) and senior managers (25-26 August 2022).

The ITU Leadership Accelerator is part of the ITU Transformation Programme which provides a structured OneITU approach to leadership development. It supports managers and staff in development of their personal leadership and managerial capacity and is meant to close the soft skill gaps of ITU leaders and managers, as identified through an impartial and data-driven organizational assessment.

The fist workshop featured over 30 participants representing all ITU sectors and departments. Over the course of two days, participants discussed ITU leadership definition, what leadership skills are needed in the ITU, defined leadership personas, brainstormed leadership techniques and prototyped a leadership learning journey in the ITU.

The second hybrid workshop of the series, this time with senior managers, will take place on 25 August and 26 August.
